Certificate of Appreciation awarded to Abdurrahman for completing his Iqro 2
Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah, Abdurrahman has just recently completes Iqro 2. For those of you who are not familiar with, Iqro is a series of books used to teach children how to read Arabic, and subsequently to read Quran in a proper way.
It has been a long and whirwind journey to teach you how to read Arabic, o my dear son. There are a lots of up and down. There were several points where I simply wanted to quit and just send you to a more competent teacher. But it’s you who persisted. You requested me to teach you, not once or twice, but persistently. I really learnt a lot from you. Sometimes I feel I am not patient enough or competent enough to teach. I am sorry if I may be too fierce to you, but I want you to persevere in learning this particular thing. It’s for you, for your life, for your hereafter.
There’re still a long way to go, to complete Iqro until level 6 until you can read Quran independently. Let’s go through it together, okay.
PS: In addition to this certificate, Abdurrahman was very happy to receive ‘King’ as his reward.
Good job, kiddo, very well done! Bapak and Ibu are very proud of you.
